The Single Apple Company is a Normandy-based distillery founded in 2016 in Saint-James, near Mont-Saint-Michel. It specialises in apple-based spirits and produces small-batch Calvados, including single-varietal cuvées and cask-aged expressions sourced from different regions around the world. Its approach aims to offer a more contemporary take on Calvados.
Calvados is a brandy from Normandy, produced by distilling cider or perry – alcoholic beverages obtained, respectively, by the fermentation of apple or pear juice. The cider brandy or perry brandy is then aged to produce Calvados.
There are three Calvados AOCs, which protect the Normandy terroirs: the Calvados AOC (single or double distillation of Normandy cider), the Calvados du Pays d’Auge AOC (double distillation of cider from the Pays d’Auge) and the Calvados Domfrontais AOC (double or single distillation of cider and at least 40 per cent poiré from the Domfrontais region, which must be aged in oak casks for at least three years).
Orders are shipped within 24 hours (except on Sundays). Flat rate:
- Home delivery: €8 for the first bottle, then €4 per additional bottle (free delivery on orders of €120 or more)
- Pickup point: €4 per order (free delivery on orders of €90 or more)
- Click and Collect: Free pickup at our Paris store.

Élaborée à partir de pommes et de poires, cette eau-de-vie normande est vieillie pendant 5 ans en fût. Le travail autour du fruit et un élevage suffisamment long lui permettent de conserver une belle fraîcheur tout en développant des notes plus mûres et boisées.
Le nez est dominé par la pomme mûre et la poire, avec des notes fruitées et légèrement vanillées. En bouche, le fruit gagne en profondeur avec des touches de fruits cuits, d’épices douces et de bois. La finale est longue, fruitée et chaleureuse.
