Cécile and Christophe embarked on their spirits venture thanks to their love for the Île d’Oléron, and in particularly for the immortelle flower. Worn in the floral crown of Eleanor of Aquitaine at her wedding to Henry Plantagenet, this honey-bearing flower helps protect bees.
Gin is a type of distilled spirit made from grain, usually wheat, and flavoured with herbs, spices, fruits and other ingredients. Juniper is the key ingredient that gives it its distinctive flavour, although other herbs and spices may also be used to give each brand of gin its own unique character. Gin can be enjoyed neat or used to make a wide variety of cocktails.

Un gin bio français inspiré du maquis corse, plus épicé et plus intense, où l’immortelle séchée, le myrte et le ciste rencontrent le genièvre dans un assemblage de 18 botaniques. Développé en lien avec les paysages corses, ce gin évoque une promenade dans le maquis, avec un profil plus sauvage, plus solaire et plus intense que l’expression originale.
Son profil repose sur un ensemble complexe et harmonieux de 18 botaniques, dans lequel les notes de maquis, de myrte, de ciste et d’immortelle séchée s’accordent avec les baies de genièvre. C'est une édition à la fois puissante et subtile, pensée aussi bien pour la dégustation seule que pour le cocktail.
Le résultat est un gin floral, herbacé et épicé, avec une vraie profondeur aromatique et une belle personnalité méditerranéenne. Il conviendra particulièrement aux amateurs de gins expressifs, avec une trame plus intense et parfumée.

Pourquoi nous l'avons sélectionné ?
Cette édition déplace l’univers floral de l’immortelle vers le maquis méditerranéen. Myrte, ciste, cade, thym et romarin donnent davantage de profondeur, avec une finale plus épicée et boisée que la cuvée originale. Dix-huit botaniques composent un gin ample mais très cohérent. Nous l’aimons notamment dans un Negroni, où sa structure résiste particulièrement bien aux ingrédients amers.
