Laferté is a French whisky blending house. Its name, derived from Old French and meaning ‘fortress’, reflects its ambition to promote France as a leading centre for whisky around the world.
Whisky is a spirit produced from a germinated cereal (usually barley, wheat, rye or maize) that has been ground, fermented and distilled. To be classified as whisky in France, the product of this distillation must be aged for at least three years.
More specifically, a ‘blend’ is the result of blending several grain spirits, reflecting the distinctive characteristics of the selected terroirs.
Orders are shipped within 24 hours (except on Sundays). Flat rate:
- Home delivery: €8 for the first bottle, then €4 per additional bottle (free delivery on orders of €120 or more)
- Pickup point: €4 per order (free delivery on orders of €90 or more)
- Click and Collect: Free pickup at our Paris store.

Élaboré à partir d’orge maltée, ce blended malt français est élevé en fûts ayant contenu du sherry Oloroso, en chêne espagnol et américain, ainsi qu’en ex-fûts de bourbon. Assemblé en Charente par Adrien Douady, il présente une robe cuivrée et un profil plus intense que la cuvée Classique, avec une belle profondeur aromatique. Sa couleur est naturelle.
Le nez s’oriente vers les fruits noirs et les épices chaudes. En bouche, le profil est riche et ample, avec une intensité épicée soutenue par le caractère du bois. La finale est longue, boisée et chaleureuse, dans un style profond inspiré des whiskies élevés en fûts de sherry.

Cette cuvée permet de découvrir une facette plus intense de Laferté. L’association des fûts de sherry Oloroso et de bourbon apporte une belle richesse aromatique, entre fruits noirs, épices et notes boisées. Un whisky à privilégier pur pour apprécier son évolution.
