Founded in the Bordeaux region, Jean Boyer is a historic name in the French whisky industry. As the country’s first independent bottler of Scotch whisky, the company now develops its own French creations in collaboration with the Rozelieures distillery. The Nationale 10 range pays tribute to the road that runs alongside the company’s historic headquarters and reflects its expertise in the art of blending.
Whisky is a spirit made from germinated grain (usually barley, wheat, rye or corn) that has been crushed, fermented and distilled. In France, to be classified as whisky, the final product must be aged for at least three years.
Orders are shipped within 24 hours (except on Sundays). Flat rate:
- Home delivery: €8 for the first bottle, then €4 per additional bottle (free delivery on orders of €120 or more)
- Pickup point: €4 per order (free delivery on orders of €90 or more)
- Click and Collect: Free pickup at our Paris store.

Ce whisky français élaboré en collaboration avec la distillerie Rozelieures met en avant une approche de l’assemblage où la tourbe est utilisée comme un fil conducteur aromatique plutôt que comme une dominante.
Le nez s’ouvre sur une fumée douce et diffuse, rapidement accompagnée de notes de céréales grillées et de miel. En bouche, la texture est souple et ronde, portée par un mélange de malt, de caramel léger et de fumée délicate. La tourbe s’exprime de manière progressive, apportant du relief sans écraser les autres arômes. La finale est équilibrée, légèrement fumée, avec une sensation de malt et d’épices douces.

Nous aimons ici la manière dont la tourbe apporte du relief sans prendre possession du whisky. Le style Nationale 10 reste franc et accessible, avec une fumée présente mais mesurée et une structure qui conserve de la souplesse. C’est une expression particulièrement intéressante pour qui souhaite aller vers le tourbé sans basculer immédiatement dans les profils les plus médicinaux ou austères.
