The Vrignaud Distillery was founded in a South Western French region in 1812 by Henri-Aimé Vrignaud.
At that time, the commercial port of Luçon was thriving, with ships unloading fruit, plants and spices from all over the world. A dream come true for any distiller and liqueur maker!
By the end of the 19th century, thanks to its creative spirit, the Vrignaud Distillery was recognised worldwide for its expertise, as evidenced in particular by two gold medals at the Paris World’s Fairs in 1889 and 1900.
Wine-based spirits (WBA) can be made from red, white or rosé wine.
These aperitifs are flavoured with infusions of herbs, roots, flowers, fruits or fruit peel, to which neutral alcohol, sugar or caramel is added.
More specifically, Vermouth is a wine-based aperitif, fortified by the addition of mistella, brandy or liqueur. It is drunk neat and is used in many cocktails. Indeed, it helps to lower the alcohol content of the mixture when added to a 40% ABV spirit. The sugar in vermouth sweetens the mixture whilst adding aromatic notes, resulting in a more complex cocktail.

Vermouth Rouge Vendéen

- 26,67€ / per l
18% Vol. | 75cl
