The Tessendier distillery traces its history back to 1880, when Gaston Tessendier first established it. Over the years, the family and their teams have honed their style and expertise, and today it is brothers Jérôme and Lilian who carry on the distillery’s legacy. With Arlett, they pay tribute to their mother, a whisky enthusiast.

Whisky is a spirit made from germinated grain (usually barley, wheat, rye or maize) that has been crushed, fermented and distilled. To be classified as whisky in France, the result of this distillation must be aged for at least three years. This ageing takes place in a cask, which may be new or may have previously contained another spirit. The whisky will then take on the flavours of that previous ageing.

Orders are shipped within 24 hours (except on Sundays). Flat rate:

• Home delivery: €8 for the first bottle, then €4 per additional bottle (free delivery on orders of €120 or more)
• Pickup point: €4 per order (free delivery on orders of €90 or more)
• Click and Collect: Free pickup at our Paris store.
